Images of the Shark's hockey team, Faber's, Phil Wood, and Detroit steel on 20 inch rims is what comes to mind when one thinks of San José. Word of SJFixed hosting the city's first ever major alleycat race spread from the Bay Area and across the U.S. thanks to the power of the internet and the fixed gear community. Some 200 participated and 150 racers were involved.
